Leeladhar Jagoori (b. 1944) --- Leeladhar Jagoori was a teacher by profession. He has several publications to his credit including Shankha Mukhi Shikharon Par, Natak Jari Hai, Is Yatra Men, Raat Ab Bhi Maujud Hai, Bachi Hui Prithvi Par and Anubhav Ke Aakash Mein Chand. Poet, teacher and editor, Leeladhar Jagoori was born in Dhangan gaon in Tehri Garhwal in 1944. He took his M.A. in Hindi and has had a varied professional career working as a soldier in Garhwal Regiment, as teacher in schools and colleges, as Deputy Director in State Information .and Public Relations Department, UP. Honours and awards conferred on him include Raghuvir Sahai Samman, Shatadal Award of Bhasha parishad, Namit Puraskar and Aakashwani National Award.
